Never seen a series before, that actually changes its title midway. Unfortunately he is declined for pilot school and is instead accepted into the jedi academy. The full title should be: Characters are bland and 2 dimensional, the dialogue/narrative is poor and repetative, and well established characters behave in ways which are not in keeping with their character traits. This chronicle of his year at jedi academy takes familiar star wars tropes and runs with them and is at its best when it subverts the traditional doctrine.

At the moment, i´m reading my first star wars novel, death star, a great piece of work by writers michael reaves and steve perry. So instead of ‘retro’ i would say that jedi academy is a fairly modern game that will run on nearly all recent hardware. Jedi search is the first novel in the jedi academy trilogy, and it details the beginnings of a new jedi academy that luke is determined to build. This incredible, original story captures all of the humor, awkwardness, fun, and frustrations of middle. Never seen a series before, that actually changes its title midway.
